LexisNexis provides its employees with convenience and copy centers across the campus.
The centers include kitchenettes with a refrigerator, microwave, icemaker, coffee dispenser and sink, as well as vending machines and a copy machine with countertop area for sorting.
The centers are also locations for recycling paper products, batteries, plastic, and metal materials.
This renovation upgraded and redesigned one of those centers, which had outdated finishes, poor lighting and a bad flow pattern.
The new space was redesigned to provide more openness and easier access from the adjoining hallway.
New lighting fixtures brightened the space, and the finishes were upgraded with warmer tones for a more inviting feel. A small seating counter was incorporated into the vending area.
To create distinct spaces for the kitchenette and copying areas, a low partition topped with a decorative eco-resin panel was installed
